Rising singer-songwriter and producer GWYN is set to release her emotionally charged new single, "Lost Angels," on April 18, 2025, featuring Chinese independent artist Zzqc_Jessie (宗祈辰, Qichen Zong). In 2022, GWYN lost both her maternal and paternal grandmothers to COVID-19 within the span of just three months. Their passing left an unfillable void, prompting her to confront the deeper impact of her relentless pursuit of success. “I looked up to and deeply respected these women,” GWYN shares. “Losing them made me realize how much time I sacrificed with my family for my career. It made me wonder if success could ever truly replace that sense of loss.”

The title "Lost Angels" is a poignant play on Los Angeles, the city often seen as the mecca of musical success. GWYN contemplates the glossy facade of industry life, questioning whether achieving her dreams will numb her pain or deepen her disconnection.
